The little chapel, built in the 1930’s, is the oldest chapel on the island located on the highest sand dune overlooking the ocean. Please help yourself to a visit while you stay in the cottage. Walk, bike ride, or drive to the beach, only a few blocks away! Weddings are still conducted at the Chapel so don’t be surprised to see one take place during your stay.

Living Area

The open floor plan living room has a large comfy sectional couch, a 2nd couch and an arm chair for your relaxation. There is a flat panel TV with standard cable and WIFI. The dining area and kitchen also shares this space.

3 Bedrooms

The 1st bedroom has a queen-sized bed. The 2nd bedroom has a king-sized bed. The 3rd bedroom (sleeping porch) has 2 twin extra long bunk beds. There is a TV with standard cable and a sleeper sofa in the sleeping porch. There is also a 2nd dining table.

2 Bathrooms

There are 2 full bathrooms. The 1st bathroom has a tub/shower combo. The 2nd bathroom has a stand-up shower.

Kitchen

This kitchen overlooks the living room for a very open feel. You will be able to prepare many of your family meals here and be a part of the action at the same time. This kitchen is fully stocked with most basic items. There is a large ranch style dining table with benches and chairs to seat everyone at once. There are also some bar stools at the breakfast bar.

Outdoors

his property does not have a swimming pool; however, the City of Port Aransas has a great public pool open 6 days a week only a few miles away. After a day in the sun, relax on the porch or small fenced back yard while you grill out your dinner. There is a BBG grill and a picnic table in the fenced yard and deck chairs on the patio. The deck has gates at both ends to corral the little ones.

Parking

There is parking for 2-3 vehicles including parking for small boats and trailers. Note: when the Chapel is being used or toured, guests will park in the empty lot next door to your house and use the path up to the chapel.
